In the first half of 2025, the 10th edition of the prestigious competition for the best scientific papers published in impact-factor journals in 2024 took place. The event is organized by the Purkyně Endowment Fund, which focuses on supporting young members of the Czech Medical Association JEP under the age of 35.
The evaluation committee carefully selected the best works in the categories of theoretical, internal, and surgical disciplines, taking into account not only the impact factor but also the overall quality of the submitted papers.
The award ceremony was held on September 16, 2025, in the representative premises of the Sala terrena of the Wallenstein Palace, during the traditional award ceremony of the Czech Medical Association JEP Presidium for scientific papers published in 2024.
