On 18 October 2025, the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague will host a specialised course titled Coprological Examination in Practice, led by Prof. MVDr. David Modrý, Ph.D.
This course is designed especially for veterinary nurses and assistants who wish to enhance their practical skills in diagnosing parasitic infections. Stool examination should be one of the fundamental routine procedures in every veterinary practice – and during this course, participants will have the opportunity to practice each step of the coprological examination from start to finish.
What to expect
The course will combine theoretical foundations with hands-on training using real samples. Participants can look forward to:
- an overview of diagnostic methods for parasitic diseases and their practical use,
- demonstrations of equipment for routine coproscopy,
- microscopic examination of samples and identification of parasite developmental stages,
- a discussion workshop on interpreting results from both clinical and laboratory practice,
- guidance on choosing the right antiparasitic treatment.
The course is limited to 25 participants, ensuring a personal approach and plenty of room for discussion and questions.
We are delighted that Association House is providing organisational support for this practically oriented training and contributing to the education of veterinary professionals who help keep animals healthy every day.
