This is the first year for the Czech Association of Small Animal Veterinarians (ČAVLMZ) to launch their online project – ČAVLMZ Educational project 2021.
The project is divided into eight categories according to specialization:
- Surgery
- Cardiology
- Dermatology
- Oncology
- Haematology
- Veterinary nurses
- Feline medicine
- Management of veterinary practices
Our webinars form part of the credited education under the auspices of the Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons.
Those interested can watch their broadcasting live and ask questions to the lecturers. Still, we also offer the opportunity to watch the recordings of the lectures in the video zone, in the range of 1 to 2 months after their broadcasting. The lecturers are renowned Czech experts working in the Czech Republic and abroad and young doctors – specialists who are just starting in the role of presenters and consider this opportunity to share their experience with colleagues to be mutually beneficial. The project aims to offer a variety of topics in the online format for the widest possible circle within the veterinary community and, at the same time, to expand the membership base of the association, whether they are members who want to gain education and learn based on what is happening inside the association or whether they are members who wish to actively contribute to the development of the association. Everyone is sure to have an opportunity.
We are aware that the virtual form of education cannot replace on-site education with 100%. Still, due to the interest of the professional public, which the pandemic has brought about, we wish to develop online learning further and perceive it as an important addition to on-site teaching. Since we are a non-profit organization, we provide virtual education as a paid service; however, we offer discounted rates for active members of our association.
Our provider of technical and organizational services GUARANT International has been a great support for us, as so have our sponsors, without whom we would not be able to implement the project to such an extent and quality. After the first 6 months, we perceive that the set goals of the project are slowly being met and the project appears to be desirable and viable. Thanks to that, we are also gaining many new stimuli for development in the years to come, which we perceive as a very positive impulse.
