In the first weekend of December, 2-3 December 2023, we organized the 31st Annual Conference for the Czech Association of Small Animal Veterinarians, in Prague’s O2 Universum.
The educational program of this year’s conference was very rich and presented both elements of the latest knowledge and basic schemes in the diagnostic and therapeutic approach in the spirit of the project “Back to the basics” with the aim not to neglect the level of basic veterinary knowledge and skills.

DENTISTRY – MVDr. Kateřina Slabá, MVDr. Tomáš Fichtel, MVDr. Vladěna Stránská, and foreign guest dr. Philippe Roux.
After the lectures, a ceremony was held to establish the new DENTAL SECTION of ČAVLMZ, which presented its vision and professional program for the next year.

A very important point of the conference was the plenary session of ČAVLMZ and VOLBY, and the new president of the Association until 2025 is MVDr. Václav Bartoš and 1st Vice-President MVDr. Radka Vaňusová. The current president MVDr. Ondřej Cita moved to the position of 2nd Vice President.
Saturday evening was traditionally reserved for socializing with live music in the Občanské plovárně, where about 200 people met in a pleasant mood.
In total, around 450 people and 33 exhibitors visited the conference, and we are happy to return to live pre-Covid events, which is confirmed by the program for 2024.
The association also presented its members with the Education 2024 program and the date of the 32nd Annual Conference 2024 at the KCC in Prague. 9 – 10 November 2024, and the 1st Spring Congress of the CAVLMZ in Brno on 23 – 24 March 2024 is also worth mentioning, to which we cordially invite you!
