On 20 November 2025, the Czech Small Animal Veterinary Association (CSAVA), in cooperation with Association House by GUARANT International, is organising a professional workshop dedicated to the fundamentals of small animal endoscopy.
The event will take place in Prague and will combine theoretical instruction with hands-on training led by expert MVDr. Michal Alexa. This unique format offers participants the chance to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience directly at the endoscope.
What the workshop offers
Participants will be introduced to the basic principles of endoscopic diagnostics and its use in everyday veterinary practice. The course will include:
- an overview of endoscopic techniques for small animals,
- demonstrations of essential equipment and handling procedures,
- practical exercises on endoscope operation,
- discussion of case studies and diagnostic approaches.
With a limited number of participants, the workshop ensures an individual approach and plenty of space for questions and interaction with the instructor.

Endoscopy has become an essential diagnostic tool in modern veterinary medicine, allowing precise and minimally invasive evaluation of internal structures. The aim of the workshop is to help veterinarians gain confidence and accuracy in performing endoscopic procedures and interpreting their findings.
